Terms and Conditions
for all Classes

Please read before proceeding with payment. You will be asked to accept these terms and conditions before payment is made.  Please remember that class lessons are paid by semester ONLY unless there has been written permission by PJ's Services directly to do monthly payments.

1.  PJ's Services Music and Martial Arts classes are a year-round instruction programs.  Therefore, the classes are scheduled accordingly.  The tuition is based on a 4-week month. During the course of the year, your child will receive 3-5 30-minute lessons per month which averages out to the 4 classes per month.  Months with five weeks in it are balanced against those with three weeks in it due to holidays.

2.  PJ's Services, LLC goes by the Cobb County Holiday schedule for most holidays.  There are no classes scheduled during the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and other major holidays. There are no classes scheduled for the regularly scheduled minor holidays when Georgia public schools are out.  There are no classes when your child's school, where he/she takes lessons, is closed or out for the day for whatever reason.  There are no classes scheduled during the Spring Break, which varies according to the school and county location.  Therefore, instructor will schedule spring break according to the area of her location to try to be on the same schedule as the majority of schools.  There are no classes for 2 weeks during the summer as a break for the instructors, since we are a year-round program.  All of these closures are already scheduled in the calendar and figured in the cost of the monthly payment.  Therefore, make-ups for these mentioned are not provided.

3.  PJ's Services, LLC does not prorate tuition (except for second month according to the student's start date).  No make-up classes are provided.  Please understand that a missed class is considered a forfeited class.

4.  Full Registration/Curriculum/Book/T-shirt/Belt fees, etc... are due at the time of registration. Tuition is debited on the 1st of the month/semester for all accounts. (There is an automatic, $15 NSF fee automatically assessed for credit/debit card declines for any reason.) This fee will be due immediately before class can continue.  Invoices are e-mailed on the 20th of the month/semester for the upcoming month/semester of lessons for all accounts.

5.  Tuition is assessed monthly/semesterly and due in advance, on the first of each month/semester and is considered late after the 8th of the month. This covers the student's enrollment for that month/semester or any portion of that month/semester. A $15 late fee is automatically assessed for any payment not received by the 8th of the month. There is an $15 NSF fee for all declined recurring debits/credit cards.  For cancelled accounts:  $15 late fee will be assess for any balances remaining on account after the 8th of each of the following 3 months after cancellation.  Unpaid accounts will be sent to collection agency and will affect credit.

6.  The non-refundable registration fee includes tuition, administrative and materials. It is due on or before the first lesson. It covers registration processing, overhead, insurance, & an initial music book(s) or martial arts t-shirt.  Be sure your child brings his/her music book, martial arts t-shirt, and belt, as well as any required supplies for every class. Registration occurring after the first lesson of the month is prorated during the 2nd month.

7.  Parents are required to purchase additional lesson books/martial arts t-shirts/belt replacement occasionally as students progress.

8.  Families with more than one enrolled student may apply a $5-$15 discount to the second child’s registration fee and they can also receive a $15 discount to the second child's semester tuition.  This will depend on the type of registration.

9.  Tuition is NOT prorated to reflect missed lessons. A MISSED LESSON IS A FORFEITED LESSON. Upon enrollment, your child’s class space & lesson time are reserved whether he/she is present or not.  Unfortunately, instructors cannot offer make-up lessons due to a sick child, otherwise there would be constant make-up lessons.  If the instructor misses a lesson, it will most certainly be rescheduled.  The instructor will inform you when and how that make-up lesson will occur.  These are the following options:  1)  Do a double class for the next scheduled class;  2)  Add extra time (usually 15 minutes) to the next two (2-3) already scheduled classes to equal a total of 30-45 minutes;  3)  If options 1 and 2 are not at all possible, then the third option will be for the instructor to get approval from the school/director to come in an extra day to do the make-up.  If teacher is unable to schedule a make-up time, then your account will most definitely be credited for the missed lesson.

10.  Upon registration, each child’s class space is specifically reserved. So that we may have adequate time to fill your child’s class space, 30-day WRITTEN CANCELLATION NOTICE is required (or a 1-month's tuition cancellation fee in lieu of the notice) .  If WRITTEN CANCELLATION NOTICE is not received, a 1-month's tuition cancellation fee will automatically be charged in lieu of the notice.  Cancellation notices must be e-mailed directly to pjs.pama@gmail.com.  Verbal or a cellular text message given to the childcare center or school staff is not considered sufficient notification and the cancellation fee will be assessed.
